Our new mobile cart contains a complete sensory environment that can offer calming input or sensory stimulation to clients anywhere in your facility. It's ideal for school sensory rooms, children's hospitals, burn units and trauma centers, residential facilities and group homes. It may also be used in nursing homes and assisted living facilities for persons who have dementia.
Our cart is made from the same Baltic Birch that Southpaw uses for all of its high-quality, long lasting sensory integration products. A 4-foot bubble tube on one side of the cart stands in front of hinged mirrored panels that reflect a multiple light display. A built-in AM/FM Radio/CD Player with auxiliary input for an MP3 Player is mounted on the back of the cart. One outlet powers the entire unit through a hospital-grade power supply inside the cabinet with adequate capacity for all electrical connections. A cabinet with locking doors offer storage for the cart components. Four casters move smoothly across any floor, and facilitate turning and handling.
The Solar Projector comes complete with two image wheels and a rotator. The projector output is bright enough to use with any lighting conditions. The Bubble Tube and Fiber Optic Spray change automatically through five colors. The speed of the color change may be controlled by the therapist with a small remote control.
The Bubble Tube has a special drain hose that allows the water to drain easily in 10 minutes, without moving the column. The Bubble Tube lights are LEDs and never have to be changed.
