Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley Assistive Technology Services contracts with AT Ohio to provide refurbished computers for people with disabilities. These are Pentium III computers with Windows 2000 operating system, 17 inch monitor or above, mouse and keyboard. Each one is loaded with Learning Software and virus protection. By joining our AT Lending Library for a one time cost of $60 the computer is yours to keep. Modems are an additional $15.
We can load software demos on the computers upon request. Demos include: JAWS
Zoomtext, Duxbury, Connect Outloud, Bigshot, Window Eyes, Open Book, Magic, and WYNN.
You will need to have a statement of disability signed by a doctor, caseworker or teacher. Please fill out the form below and we would be glad to assist you.

COMPUTERS FOR SPECIAL-NEEDS CLASSROOMS
Does your school need computers for special-needs classrooms? Since 1998, Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley Assistive Technology Services has received a grant from the Ohio Department of Education to provide refurbished computers for your classroom at no charge to you.

Ohio Department of Education Computer Request Application
Staff will visit your school and assist with assessing your needs. We will schedule a time for teachers to come in for a 90 minute training and the computers are yours to take back with you. This also gives the teachers the opportunity to see the assistive technology we have available in our AT Lending Library.
The refurbished computers are Pentium III with new Windows XP operating systems, learning software, virus protection, 17 inch monitors or above, keyboard, mouse and speakers. The computers were donated to us by Lexis-Nexis. We are a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher so the operating systems are new. The learning software covers spelling, math, English, typing speed and a variety of learning games.
CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS
